China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC) attended the opening ceremony of the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, upon invitation on Sept. 17, 2026.

The event brought together government officials, organizational leaders, and business representatives from China and ASEAN countries.
Themed "CAFTA 3.0 Opportunities, Better Life," this year's China-ASEAN Expo covers an exhibition area of approximately 170,000 square meters and has attracted more than 3,400 exhibitors, which are showcasing the latest achievements in China-ASEAN cooperation and new opportunities brought by the Version 3.0 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA).
CNMC and its listed subsidiary China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC) have presented their achievements at the exhibition area for major state-owned enterprises, highlighting their major engineering projects and business practices in ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, and Myanmar, through thematic exhibition panels, project scale models, and promotional videos.
Running through Sept. 21, the expo also includes a series of economic and trade exchange activities.
CNMC and its affiliated companies, including NFC, are making full use of the expo and the economic and trade exchange activities to deepen pragmatic cooperation with ASEAN countries in areas such as engineering contracting and resource development for mutual benefit and shared development.
